Albemarle Boats 41 Custom Carolina Edition Walk Through

The cool part about our job is getting to see the newest boats and technology while on the road. This week we have been covering the Hatteras Marlin Club Billfish Tournament on the Outer Banks of NC.

The Albemarle Boats team based out of Edenton, North Carolina invited us to come aboard and take a look at the 41 Custom Carolina Edition “Albemarlin” that has been fishing the event all week.

Helm Deck – Mezzanine 

The helm deck arrangement with upgraded upholstery on her integrated mezzanine seating, wrap-around helm lounges, and Release Marine teak helm chairs.  The one-piece, molded fiberglass windshield provides incredible visibility and excellent protection from the elements.

Cockpit

The cockpit is large and contains everything necessary for offshore fishing. With a livewell and bait freezer located under lids that double as footrests for the mezzanine seating, and in-deck cockpit fish box are removable for access to equipment in the lazarette.

Interior

Once you go down below one of the first things we noticed was the amount of space. The amount of space on this 41 surprised us. The forward stateroom features a queen size berth with spring mattress and “his and her” hanging lockers and drawer banks.

Galley

The galley contains solid-surface countertops, two-burner stove, microwave/convection oven, drawer-style refrigerator/freezer, under counter icemaker, and ample cabinet and drawer space.

Dinette – Bunk

The starboard side dinette converts to a double bunk and has a Pullman feature, providing a fifth bunk.  Above the Pullman is one of the boat’s two dedicated rod storage lockers.   The head is spacious and includes a separate shower stall for added comfort on extended cruises.
