What are Marine Zones you ask?

NOAA has divided all coastal offshore waters into Marine Zones – then they provide localized weather information for each zone. Select a marine zone to view the written forecast for that region. Updated every 30 minutes.

When a marine warning is broadcasted while you are on the water an obvious pink shaded area pops up on your display (as show in the image below).

Once that Marine Warning is selected the marine warning will give you the details to keep you safe and informed while on the water.
