Coast Guard warns mariners of no offshore radio communications along NC coast
WILMINGTON, N.C. — Coast Guard Sector North Carolina restored radio communication capabilities Friday. Repairs were completed at approximately 4 a.m. Friday.  An HC-130 Hercules airplane was launched Thursday night to monitor radio communications in the North Carolina Captain of the Port Zone until repairs were completed.
