ALAN HENRYΒ Water clear main lake, stained upriver; 52–57 degrees; 5.76’ low. Black bass are slow on crankbaits and spoons. Crappie and bass are slow on minnows. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

AMISTADΒ Water murky; 64–68 degrees; 23.15’ low. Black bass are good on crankbaits, jerkbaits, and soft plastics in 9–15 feet. Striped bass are good on slabs, spoons, and jigs. White bass are good on slabs, spoons, and jigs. Catfish are good on shrimp, chicken livers, nightcrawlers, and cheesebait. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

ARROWHEADΒ Water fairly clear; 51–59 degrees; 2.55’ low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

ATHENSΒ Water lightly stained; 46–49 degrees; 0.48’ high. Black bass are fair on soft plastic jerkbaits, spinnerbaits and football jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

AUSTINΒ Water stained; 52–57 degrees; 0.72’ low. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs, jigs and shakyheads. Sunfish are fair on cut nightcrawlers. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

BASTROPΒ Water stained; 63–67 degrees. Black bass are good on blue/white soft plastics and Rat–L–Traps. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on minnows and frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTONΒ Water stained; 62–66 degrees; 3.40’ low. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows at night. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with frozen shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

BENBROOKΒ Water stained; 44–48 degrees; 1.69’ low. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, shakyhead worms and suspending jerkbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BOB SANDLINΒ Water lightly stained; 45–50 degrees; 0.04’ high. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, football jigs and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on minnows. Catfish are slow on trotlines and prepared bait.

BONHAMΒ Water stained; 43–48 degrees; 1.17’ low. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, medium crankbaits, and Carolina rigged worms. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs on brush piles. Catfish are fair along creek channel with cut shad.

BRAUNIGΒ Water murky. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and dark soft plastic worms in the reeds. Striped bass are good on liver and shad. Redfish are fair on perch, shad, and silver spoons. Channel and blue catfish are good on perch and shad.

BRIDGEPORTΒ Water clear, 43–47 degrees: 4.73’ low. Black bass are slow on shakyhead worms, suspending jerkbaits and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are fair on jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BROWNWOODΒ Water stained; 60–64 degrees; 3.63’ low. Black bass are good on chartreuse/black crankbaits and watermelon soft plastic worms over brush piles. Hybrid striper are fair on silver striper jigs. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies. Crappie are good on Li’l Fishies and minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are fair on stinkbait and shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANANΒ Water stained; 63–67 degrees; 4.55’ low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red grubs, blue flake Scoundrel worms, and drop shot worms along ledges in 12–25 feet. Striped bass are fair drifting live shad in 20–28 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

CADDOΒ Water stained; 46–50 degrees; 0.60’ high. Black bass are fair on lipless crankbaits, Texas rigged creature baits, and bladed jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

CALAVERASΒ Water murky. Black bass are good on dark soft plastic worms and crankbaits around reed beds. Striped bass are good on Rat–L–Traps near the dam. Redfish are slow. Channel catfish are good on liver, shrimp, and nightcrawlers. Blue catfish are fair on liver and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

CANYON LAKEΒ Water stained; 64–68 degrees; 3.80’ low. Black bass are very good on Texas rigged red shad worms and Brush Hogs along bluffs in 10–15 feet. Striped bass are fair jigging Pirk Minnows and trolling Shad Raps on down riggers in 40–60 feet. White bass are fair but small on blade baits along main lake bluffs. Smallmouth bass are fair on smoke drop shot worms along main lake points and bluffs. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

CEDAR CREEKΒ Water lightly stained; 44–47 degrees; 1.85’ low. Black bass are fair on suspending jerkbaits, bladed jigs and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs.

CHOKE CANYONΒ Water stained; 63–67 degrees; 24.79’ low. Black bass are good on heavy jigs, crankbaits, and large soft plastic lizards in the grass. White bass are fair on minnows upriver. Crappie are fair on minnows. Drum are fair on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLEMANΒ Water stained; 61–65 degrees; 2.69’ low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse Rat–L–Traps and crankbaits. Hybrid striper are fair on white striper jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel catfish are good on stinkbait, nightcrawlers, and frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLETO CREEKΒ Water clear; 89 degrees at the hot water discharge, 66 degrees in main lake; 1.29’ low. Black bass are slow. White bass are fair on slabs and spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows in 10–18 feet. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with liver. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch.

COLORADO CITYΒ 15.48’ low. After a period of drought, this lake caught water and boating is now allowed. However, it is not currently recommended for fishing due to severe golden alga blooms.

CONROEΒ Water stained; 61–65 degrees; 0.07’ high. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed soft plastics, crankbaits, and Rat–L–Traps in 15–25 feet. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, nightcrawlers, and frozen shrimp.

COOPERΒ Water stained; 57–65 degrees; 1.84’ low. Black bass are good on shallow crankbaits, spinnerbaits and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Hybrid striper and white bass are fair on slabs.

CORPUS CHRISTI LAKEΒ Water off color; 58–63 degrees; 0.88’ low. Black bass are fair to good on Rat–L–Traps, Texas rigs and shakyheads. White bass are fair on tail spinners. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are good on live shad.

EAGLE MOUNTAINΒ Water lightly stained; 44–47 degrees; 2.07 low. Black bass are fair on squarebill crankbaits, spinnerbaits and shakyhead worms. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

FAIRFIELDΒ Water fairly clear. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, swim jigs and Texas rigged creature baits. No report on other species.

FALCONΒ Water murky; 64–68 degrees; 17.70’ low. Black bass are fair on large worms with light weights in 14–20 feet. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on frozen shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

FAYETTEΒ Water murky. Black bass are fair on watermelon soft plastics and spinnerbaits. Channel and blue catfish are good on liver and shrimp.

FORKΒ Water stained; 46–49 degrees; 1.09’ low. Black bass are fair on lipless crankbaits, football jigs, and black and blue flipping jigs near timber along channel swings. White and yellow bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and white jigs along bridges. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

FT. PHANTOM HILLΒ Water off color; 52–58 degrees; 2.2’ low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

GIBBONS CREEKΒ Water stained. Black bass are fair on watermelon soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp and liver.

GRANBURYΒ Water stained; 62–66 degrees; 0.40’ low. Black bass are good on watermelon soft plastic worms with chartreuse tails, and on Rat–L–Traps. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp, stinkbait, and liver.

GRANGERΒ Water stained; 63–67 degrees; 0.65’ high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Blue catfish are fair on juglines baited with shad and cut bait in 10–20 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

GRAPEVINEΒ Water lightly stained; 43–46 degrees; 0.783 low. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigged worms, drop shot worms, and deep diving crankbaits. White bass and hybrid bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

GREENBELTΒ Water off color; 38–45 degrees; 32.32 low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

HOUSTON COUNTYΒ Water stained; 60–64 degrees; 0.08’ high. Black bass are fair on black or blue worms with red or blue metal flake around sand bars at mid lake, and on jigs in creek channels. Crappie are fair on live minnows in 20 feet. Bream are slow. Channel and blue catfish to 5 pounds are fair on live worms near bream beds. Yellow catfish are slow.

HUBBARD CREEKΒ Water off color; 54–59 degrees; 3.24’ low. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs. No reports on crappie. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

JOE POOLΒ Water lightly stained; 44–47 degrees; 0.88’ low. Black bass are slow on bladed jigs, suspending jerkbaits and Carolina rigged worms. White bass are slow on slabs and minnows. Crappie are fair on jigs. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

LAKE O’ THE PINESΒ Water lightly stained; 45–49 degrees: 1.15’ high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged craws, lipless crankbaits and bladed jigs. White bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and chartreuse jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

LAVONΒ Water stained; 44–48 degrees: 2.61’ low. Black bass are slow on black and blue jigs, shakyhead worms and bladed jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on white jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

LBJΒ Water stained; 62–66 degrees; 0.69’ low. Black bass are good on black/blue Curb’s jigs and pumpkinseed tubes off docks. Striped bass are fair on white striper jigs. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows in brush piles under heated docks. Channel catfish are fair on shrimp and nightcrawlers. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

LEWISVILLEΒ Water lightly stained; 42–46 degrees; 1.70’ low. Black bass are fair on weightless Senkos, suspending jerkbaits and shallow crankbaits. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are slow on minnows. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

LIVINGSTONΒ Water stained; 63–67 degrees; 0.19’ high. Black bass are fair to good on soft plastics and spinnerbaits early. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on juglines baited with shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

MACKENZIEΒ 74.26’ low. Black bass are slow. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers. No reports on crappie.

MARTIN CREEKΒ Water lightly stained; 84–88 degrees; 2.59’ low. Black bass are good on swim jigs, spinnerbaits and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on minnows and slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

MEREDITHΒ Water fairly clear; 39–45 degrees; 47.57’ low. No reports on black bass. No reports of smallmouth bass or walleye. Bream and channel catfish are being caught in limited numbers.

MONTICELLOΒ Water stained; 45–49 degrees; 2.62’ low. Black bass are slow on bladed jigs, green pumpkin flipping jigs and Texas rigged creature baits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

NASWORTHYΒ 53–58 degrees; 1’ low. No reports on black bass. No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on live bait.

NAVARRO MILLSΒ Water stained; 61–65 degrees; 2.10’ low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse Rat–L–Traps and soft plastics. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and pink tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

O.H. IVIEΒ Water stained; 51–59 degrees; 38.13’ low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and crankbaits. Crappie are slow on live minnows. Catfish are fair on live bait.

OAK CREEKΒ Water stained; 51–57 degrees; 10.93’ low. Black bass slow on Texas rigs. Crappie are slow on live minnows. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

PALESTINEΒ Water lightly stained; 43–47 degrees; 0.18’ high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged Senkos, jerkbaits and flipping jigs on docks. Crappie are good on minnows. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

POSSUM KINGDOMΒ Water off color; 51–58 degrees; 1.59’ low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnow. White bass are fair on slabs. Striped bass are fair on live shad. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

RICHLAND CHAMBERSΒ Water lightly stained; 42–46 degrees; 2.93’ low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged worms, suspending jerkbaits and football jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are slow on trotlines.

SPENCE 51.34’ low. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

STAMFORDΒ Water stained to muddy; 52–60 degrees; 0.78’ low. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs. Crappie are slow on live minnows. White bass are fair on live bait. Blue catfish are good on cut and live bait.

STEINHAGENΒ 1.67’ high. No report available.

STILLHOUSEΒ Water murky; 62–66 degrees; 4.27’ low. Black bass are good on pumpkinseed spinnerbaits and watermelon soft plastics. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on shrimp and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

SWEETWATERΒ Water off color; 50–58 degrees; 24.49’ low. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available.

TAWAKONIΒ Water stained; 44–48 degrees; 0.67’ low. Black bass are slow on lipless crankbaits, flipping jigs and bladed jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid bass are good on slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.
