Brandon Palaniuk On Flipping and Pitching with Braid to Fluorocarbon
Professional Bass Angler and Seaguar Pro Brandon Palaniuk shares when he uses braid to fluorocarbon for flipping and pitching and demonstrates the knot that he uses.
When fishing soft cover that is not matted Brandon likes to use braid but likes to tie on a fluorocarbon leader. Especially in clear water situations where the fish may still be able to see. It also helps to have fluoro around rock because of its abrasion resistance.
Brandon suggests using 20-25 lb Seaguar Flippin’ Fluorocarbon Line.
Designed by flipping guru, Denny Brauer, the Seaguar Flippin’ Fluorocarbon Line delivers best-in-class strength, while maintaining the invisibility of fluorocarbon, making it the perfect choice for pitching and flipping in clear conditions.
Watch as Brandon demonstrates how he ties his fluorocarbon line to his braid using a Crazy Alberto knot.
