That’s a wrap for the first leg of the Los Sueños Signature Triple Crown billfish tournament. Captain John Bayliss and the “Tarheel” crew took first place with an amazing 109 Sailfish releases during the 3 day event. Second place honors went to Captain Scotty Jones and the “Wire We Here” with 93 sailfish releases and 2 marlin releases. “Trophy Box” took third place with 97 sailfish releases and a marlin release.
