Morehead City, NC –
It’s widely known that during the months of October and November, from Morehead City to the Outer Banks, BIG King Mackerel abound. The weigh-in during the King Mackerel tournaments during those months can be very exciting and fun to watch.
The weigh-in for the Cape Lookout Shootout Championship that took place a few weeks ago proved to be exciting, especially for our friends the Liquid Fishing Team. For those of you not familiar with the family fishing team based out of Cape Carteret, NC, let us introduce them.
The team is made up of Mark Henderson (father), sons Joshua and Crockett, and brother-in-law Chris Waters. The team is managed by Audrey Henderson (mom), who they affectionately named “Lil General.” Two junior anglers in training are Olivia and Colby.
Recently, their team record was broken with a 63.06 lb King during the Cape Lookout Championship event. Not only was it their largest kingfish to date, but also it was the largest of the tournament and earned them 7th place in the event.

Pretty work guys!
