Get To Know The NC Billfish Series

Randy Gregory and George Lott are no strangers to billfishing tournaments along the North Carolina coast. They are introducing a new name, the NC Billfish Series. Same faces; new name.

The mission of the NC Billfish Series is to promote North Carolina’s billfish tournaments, sportsmanship, marine conservation, and competition in our world renowned offshore fishery.

The NC Billfish Series has teamed up with eight North Carolina billfish tournaments to recognize and award the best tournament boats and anglers in North Carolina.

The eight tournaments that are part of the series are:

Hatteras Village Offshore Open – May 11-15

Swansboro Rotary Blue Water Fishing Tournament – May 27-30

Cape Fear Blue Marlin Tournament – June 2-5

The Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament – June 11-19

Hatteras Grand Slam – July 7-10

The Big Rock Kids Tournament – July 15-17

Ducks Unlimited “Band the Billfish” Tournament – July 27-29

Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament – Aug. 7-14
